I had the opportunity to meet with the founders of OCA before it came into being and to know their heart's desire for a Christian school in the Ojai Valley that would offer a Christ-centered education in an excellent academic atmosphere, and one which would help students to develop Godly character.

Since 1988, when OCA opened its doors to students it has been wonderful to observe:

• Their careful attention to Educational excellence for grades K-6 in conjunction with the Biblical values
• A rigorous course of study that develops in the child the ability to think, to be creative, and to communicate
• Their Christian teachers who have been dedicated to serving and teaching their students
• And, their strong partnership with parents in the education of their children.

Today, the goals and desires remain the same. They have been a school which glorifies God by partnering with Christian parents and the churches in the Ojai area to inspire, prepare and help guard the minds of youth through an education that is Christ-centered.
